Refund policy

At Salon United, we strive to ensure that our customers are fully satisfied with their purchases. However, we understand that there may be occasions when you need to return an item. Please review our return policy to ensure a smooth and hassle-free process.

Return Period

We offer a 14-day return period for all purchases, starting from the day you receive your order. If, for any reason, you’re unhappy with your purchase or no longer need the item, we are happy to accept a return within this period, provided the product meets the following conditions.

Return Conditions

To be eligible for a return, the product must be unopened and in its original packaging. We understand that sometimes a product may not meet your expectations, and we want to ensure that it can be resold in perfect condition.

If the return is due to a fault with the product, we request that you notify us within 7 days of receiving the item. We will assess the issue and guide you through the process of returning the faulty product. Please ensure that faulty items are returned in the same condition they were received, and that all original packaging is included.

Return Process

To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

  • Contact Us: Reach out to our customer service team by email at support@salonunited.com or through the contact form on our website. Include your order number, the reason for return, and whether the item is unopened or faulty.
  • Return Authorization: Once your return request is reviewed, you will receive a Return Authorization Number and instructions on how to send the product back to us.
  • Packaging: Securely package the item in its original packaging to prevent damage during the return shipping process. Ensure that all accessories, manuals, and other components are included.
  • Return Shipping: Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the product is faulty. For items being returned due to dissatisfaction or no longer being needed, customers must arrange for the return shipment via Royal Mail. Alternatively, if the product is faulty, we can guide you on how to return it through Royal Mail or offer a collection service at a fee.

Shipping Fees for Returns

As part of our commitment to customer satisfaction, we ask that you bear the cost of return shipping unless the product is faulty. We currently use Royal Mail for returns, which can sometimes be costly. If you would like assistance in arranging a more convenient or affordable return, please contact us, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your needs.

Faulty Items

If you believe an item is faulty, please notify us within 7 days of receiving the product. We will evaluate the issue and, depending on the problem, provide a solution. In the case of faulty clippers and trimmers, we encourage you to check the included booklet for specific warranty coverage and conditions.

Exceptions

We cannot accept returns on products that have been opened or used unless the item is faulty. Additionally, items that have been tampered with, damaged, or altered in any way are not eligible for a return.

Refund Process

Once your return has been approved and the product is received, we will process a refund to your original payment method. Please note that shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to a fault with the item.
